Description:

The Appleton EYS014 is an explosionproof rigid/IMC conduit seal designed for use in hazardous locations classified as Class I Div 1 and 2 Group A B C D, Class II Div 1 and 2 Group E F G, and Class III. This 6-inch trade size seal, part of the Unilets brand and EYS model series, features a female-to-female connection type and a turning radius of 5.38 inches. Constructed from durable Grayloy iron with a zinc electroplated, chromate, and epoxy powder coated finish, the EYS014 is suitable for both horizontal and vertical mounting positions. Measuring 12.13 inches in length and 7.63 inches in width, this conduit seal is UL 886/E10444 and CSA C22.2 approved, ensuring its suitability for use in threaded rigid/IMC metal conduit systems. With its explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight design, the Appleton EYS014 provides reliable protection for electrical connections in hazardous environments.
