Company
Profile: General Equipment & Supply was founded in March 1986, in Greenville, South Carolina
with two employees and has grown to over 70 employees whose primary focus
is to supply reconditioned and new equipment, tools and supplies to
electrical, mechanical, and general contractors throughout the United States.
From our Simpsonville, South Carolina headquarters, we ship to
customers nationwide.
We offer reconditioned or new tools and equipment for sale and rent,
and offer attractive rent-to-own options on all of our equipment.
General
Equipment & Supply is a distributor for over 100 product lines,
including Greenlee, Ridgid, Ensley, Miller Electric, Ingersoll Rand Winch
Products, Marklift, Genie Industries, Pettibone Michigan and Sullivan Industries. We are
also a Greenlee
Authorized Service
Center.
In
concentrating on the electrical and mechanical contractors, our specialty
equipment can be called:

Rental Fleet
Our Rental
Fleet is comprised of specialty rental items for the electrical and
mechanical contracting industry, air compressors, air tuggers, conduit
benders, pipe threaders, material handling equipment, welding equipment,
and much more. Over $3 million dollars of new equipment has been added to
provide our customers with the most reliable equipment with which to
complete their projects. General Equipment & Supply currently offers
over 1,000 items for rent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. We also
specialize in providing the hard-to-find rental items, including: 25-ton
chainfalls with up to 70' of lift; 6" Ridgid conduit benders;
Hydrostatic test pumps to 1,000 PSI; "duct lifts" to 24';
hundreds of cable pulling sheaves; roll groovers; tubing benders; and
propane-powered welders for industrial applications.

shrinking, and equipment costs continuing to rise, more and more
contractors are starting to realize, “WHY BUY NEW WHEN RECONDITIONED WILL DO?!"
Warranty
All of our
reconditioned equipment is warranted against mechanical failure for 90 -
days from the date of shipment.
Our "No
Problem" return policy allows the return of any item within the
warranty period for full credit. Even if you don't like the paint, we'll
honor your request for a full refund or replacement, at no cost to you.
Our vast inventory
of replacement parts allows for immediate shipment, and significant savings
in the case of reconditioned items, resulting in real savings that go
directly to your bottom line.
General
Equipment & Supply provides full protection against shipping charges
incurred to initiate a warranty repair.
We pay all freight charges should a reconditioned item need to
be returned for repair, in addition to our paying freight for the items
returned.
